During my internship at ARRCC, I worked on a student project designing the interior décor for a successful businesswoman in Portugal. I selected Cascais, a serene coastal town renowned for its luxury living, scenic beauty, and proximity to Lisbon, as the home’s location. The design concept centred on a contemporary home, creating a striking contrast with the town’s traditional architecture. The mood boards showcased a clean, warm colour palette to evoke elegance and comfort, perfectly reflecting the client’s lifestyle, which balances professionalism and relaxation. To add cultural depth, I incorporated artworks by local Portuguese artisans. Additionally, I intentionally exaggerated the size of the hanging lights to introduce a bold and captivating visual feature. The result is a refined, personalised design that harmonises modern sophistication with regional charm.
